Maureen Hyde is an American artist who received her MFA degree from UCLA, and who continually works at furthering her skill in the craft of painting, and in the art of style.

As a Principle Instructor of Drawing and Painting, for decades, Ms. Hyde taught at a renowned art academy in Florence, Italy. In authentically reviving the techniques of The Old Masters of painting, the artist so internalized them as to naturally apply them to compositions that remain uniquely hers.

Ms. Hyde’s fine art paintings have been exhibited in, literally, dozens of prestigious gallery and salon exhibitions in the world.

Maureen is the illustrator of several children's picture books and young adult novel covers for major publishing houses.

Ms. Hyde recently moved to San Miquel Allende in Mexico, where her work continues to evolve, engage, and amaze.

Maureen was the illustrator of Gingerbread House’s three launch titles, and—over a period of 25 years—painted Gingerbread House’s Francis Woke Up Early.
